Zuo Xiuhao was Su Yizhou's archrival. The whole internet knew they couldn't stand each other.
Viewers flooded the livestream chat, saying Xiao Lu would get fired the next day for stepping into the office with her left foot first.
But Su Yizhou didn't fire her.
After that, the boundaries of Xiao Lu's job disappeared, and so did the boundaries between her and Su Yizhou.
Helping with his personal affairs now and then was one thing, but he even wanted her to pretend to be his girlfriend!
She's just a design assistant. She'll sell her skills, not her body. Who'd do that without a pay raise? She might as well hurry up and find a man to marry.
But she seemed to have a knack for attracting jerks, and every blind date ended in failure.
When she was at her lowest, the only person there to drink with her was Su Yizhou.
She said, "Maybe I should become an emotionless female assassin: toy with men's feelings, use their bodies, and take their money."
Su Yizhou said dismissively, "You can't even hold on to the kind of guy you meet on blind dates. How do you expect to toy with other men?"
Xiao Lu was devastated. "Then what am I supposed to do?"
