Overnight Rose

Shen Yuejun was born in 1976. She went to railway workers' schools her whole life, and everyone she knew was connected to the railways.

Her life was like a train on the tracks, bound to follow its route. The moment it went off track, there would be an accident.

The three "accidents" in her life all had to do with Xu Xingzhi.

The first was falling in love with Xu Xingzhi, the second was marrying him, and the third was divorcing him.

Those three "accidents" came together to make a "story."

Some people say love is a rose. Shen Yuejun thinks love is a rose left overnight: no longer fresh, but too precious to throw away.

Do people who marry their first love end up happy?

The story begins in the 1990s and follows them from age eighteen to thirty-eight.

P.S. Happy ending.
