[Western Crossover] He's John, Not the Joker

Maybe this is a story about John trying to make his own way in Gotham?

Content warnings:

1. Not friendly to the Joker. Joker fans, please leave now. The Joker gets taken out from the start. If I later write about transmigrating to parallel universes, I might take out every Joker I come across (except Lego Joker).

2. The characters may be out of character, the timeline is a mess, the plot is made up, the vocabulary is kindergarten-level, and the writing is elementary-school quality. This is purely self-indulgent. If you're sensitive, you don't have to like the story, but please don't hurt the author.

3. John is an ordinary, honest man with mild mental illness, not a joker. He's neutral good (for now), about 21 years old, a melancholic handsome man, and has amnesia, but he isn't stupid. He's lost memories of his own life and experiences, but hasn't forgotten his knowledge or the books he's read.

4. The author isn't smart enough, so don't expect any battle of wits. He might turn into a brute (no!), but I hope I can make John seem clever at times.

5. I'll try my best to write something sweet, though there may be angst.

6. I'm on Lofter under the same name. If I write it there, I'll post it on both platforms.
