[Reunion After Years] [Bickering Couple]
In fourth grade, Lin Wei was marked down for being late by Shen Yi, who happened to be on duty. Her homeroom teacher punished her by making her do classroom chores for a week.
After school, Lin Wei shouted at Shen Yi, "We're not friends anymore. I don't need a fair-weather friend like you!"
They gave each other the cold shoulder for a week. Before they could make up, Shen Yi suddenly transferred to another school.
Lin Wei never expected to see him again until their first year of high school. The most awkward part was that she was late again, and Shen Yi, who was on duty, caught her.
She recognized him at a glance and, unusually, pleaded with him: "Shen Yi, don't you remember me? Could you please not write down my name?"
The boy beside him tried to talk her out of it. "Hey, you might as well ask me instead. Our Shen isn't the softhearted type."
He didn't know that Shen Yi smiled and crossed Lin Wei's name off the list.
One day after they had made up, Lin Wei asked Shen Yi, "Why did you leave without saying goodbye back then? We were still fighting!"
Shen Yi said, "You're so good at holding a grudge, you would've remembered this for a very, very long time."
Long enough that on the day we met again, you'd recognize me at a glance.
