Romance blurb:

Ten years ago, Tang Tingyu abruptly ended things with Xu Jianqiu, put down her paintbrush, and became an actress.

Xu Jianqiu had thought their paths would never cross again, so she buried her lingering regrets and feelings in her heart and went abroad to study.

Now, back beneath the familiar blue sky and reunited with the person she had loved as a young woman, Xu Jianqiu realizes she still can't forget her.

And the woman who had coldly abandoned her wasn't as indifferent as she'd imagined.

The moment those alluring, affectionate eyes looked at her, they shimmered with tears. It turned out there had been more to their breakup ten years ago.

Xu Jianqiu acted completely out of character, pressing Tang Tingyu at every turn, determined to get the truth and a second chance from her.

Xu Jianqiu went to get a meal and ran into Tang Tingyu. "Teacher Tang, want to go to the cafeteria together?"

Tang Tingyu covered her face and made a lightning-fast escape.

Xu Jianqiu ran into Tang Tingyu in the elevator. "Teacher Tang, aren't you coming in?"

Tang Tingyu put on a mask and hid in the stairwell.

Xu Jianqiu's car broke down. "Teacher Tang, could you give me a ride?"

Tang Tingyu, sitting in her sports car, hit the gas and disappeared in an instant.

But people may plan, while fate decides. When Tang Tingyu woke up in Xu Jianqiu's bed, she seriously questioned her life.

The very Director Xu whom everyone at the city public security bureau praised for her refinement and grace pinched Teacher Tang's earlobe and chuckled. "This time, you can't get away, can you?"

Crime investigation blurb:

Everyone's DNA, bones, and muscle structure and patterns of change are unique. Even identical twins have subtle differences.

An abandoned baby girl, shattered bones, a killer with a monstrous appearance, a criminal who evaded capture for years after undergoing plastic surgery...

A forensic sketch artist uses a pen to draw the suspect's face, while a coroner searches biological evidence for further clues.

After all her years as a coroner, Xu Jianqiu never thought that one day the evidence would point to the woman she loved.

Yet the evidence all pointed to the same thing: the lover who had once shared her bed, the partner who had fought alongside her, might very well be a ruthless murderer.

Her morals and principles would not let her turn a blind eye. She just didn't know that another mystery still lay behind the "truth" she believed she had found.
