Frogs with Bugs Can't Be Eaten

Dai Yunna is a green frog who, by a twist of fate, transmigrates to an interstellar beastfolk world.

They say the beastfolk and the insect race are enemies.

Taking on bugs is her specialty! She can swallow them whole.

But can someone tell her why the interstellar bugs are humanoid? She can't eat intelligent beings. How depressing.

General Talmo of the insect race gives a cold smile. “I hear you want to eat me?”

She really does fall for that frog and asks the queen to arrange a marriage alliance. She tries her best to court her, but fails.

She has to leave temporarily to handle affairs in insect territory. When she returns, she intends to try courting the frog again. But where is she?

The frog she likes disappeared because she resented being forced into a marriage alliance without knowing what was going on?

Pre-release: “My Female Lord Cares for Me as I Become the Insect Queen” In the year 259467 of the Star Calendar, a massive meteorite strikes an insect nest. The magnetic field of the nest's home planet changes, and countless female insects away from home can no longer sense the main nest's location. Unable to return, they become lost beyond their star territory.

Fengweihua Yue, a butterfly spirit who has just mastered her cultivation, is swept by a storm onto a planet. Her delicate wings are torn and left in tatters, making flight impossible. She struggles to find food, only to discover that she cannot eat much of the food in the interstellar world.

Alone, she finally comes across a group of female insects, but her teammates treat her with contempt.

“She flies so slowly. What a burden. We might as well leave her in this desert.”

“There's barely any food to begin with, and she's picky. She can't even fight the alien beasts. She's just wasting food and completely useless.”

“Her wings look awful. So ugly.”

Their words stab at her. With tears in her eyes, she flaps her tattered wings and struggles to follow the group.

Just as she is feeling helpless, a female insect walks over and hands her an energy core. “Here, eat this!”

She takes it, her heart overflowing with gratitude.

Unable to fly, she watches Qingya Lingyin bend down. “I'll carry you.”

She climbs onto her back, feels her warmth, and a lifelong devotion takes root in her heart.

Because of the magnetic field changes, the female insects cannot return to the main nest to cleanse the irritable factors caused by radiation. Their lifespans will grow shorter and shorter, until they eventually die.

Under Qingya Lingyin's care and feeding, her damaged wings gradually heal. She flaps them, stirs the currents, and charts a star route.

The female insects who once looked down on her crowd around her. “Please, powerhouse, take us back to the main nest!”

Upon her return to the main nest, the throng of insects presents her with a male insect. “Your Majesty, this is the mate we carefully selected for you.”

She pulls Qingya Lingyin close. “This is my female lord. Does anyone object?”

She thinks their hearts are in accord, but Qingya Lingyin slips out of her embrace.
