Mining with the Insect Squad

As a newly transformed prospecting insect, Lan You was assigned to a unit and sent with the swarm to explore alien worlds for mineral deposits.

Prospecting was just prospecting! What was there to be afraid of as a prospecting insect?

But could someone tell her why she had to run into the Beastfolk while prospecting?

If she was too slow, the Beastfolk would claim the mineral deposits first.

That wouldn't do!

She had to find the ore veins before the Beastfolk arrived!
