Love Again in Ten Years

After six years of working hard, Qiao Qing finally bought the home of her dreams.

A perfect layout, on the perfect floor. From her balcony, she could see the river.

It would have been even better if Xiao Yanyu weren't living next door.

When Xiao Yanyu heard that someone had moved into the apartment next door, which had been empty for a long time, she brought over a housewarming gift to welcome her. But the woman turned her away at the door.

What are the odds?

They'd had a terrible breakup three years ago, and now, three years later, they were neighbors.

Exes belong in their graves. You can't be friends after breaking up.

As the saying goes, distant relatives are less helpful than nearby neighbors.

When her neighbor got blackout drunk at a bar, Xiao Yanyu carried her home.

When her neighbor's water pipe burst, Xiao Yanyu brought her tools and fixed it, getting soaked in the process.

When her neighbor couldn't make her mortgage payments, Xiao Yanyu gave her money to tide her over.

When her neighbor couldn't cook, Xiao Yanyu brought her a homemade lunch every day.

Neither of them said a word about that night of torrential rain, when they smashed everything in the house that could be broken. After their angry breakup, why had neither of them ever looked back?

They were in love for seven years and apart for three, from college through their working lives.

One-on-one, both virgins, broken-hearts-mended trope, gong-focused.
