Blazing Sun, Raging Fire

[New story] "The Fall," an entertainment-industry story with a younger seme, mutual pining, a slow-climbing snail-like seme x a possessive, gloomy, scheming uke. Please add it to your collection!

Xiang Muran is the future heir to the Xinghe Corporation, the darling of X City, and one of the few S+ Alphas. But she has a secret chronic condition: she's allergic to Omega pheromones. The moment she smells Omega pheromones, she has a stress response that can lead to shock in severe cases.

Rong Zhen is a project supervisor at the Xinghe Corporation and a leading figure in the medical academic world. She's devoted to developing suppressants for high-level Omegas. At thirty-two, her long-term use of suppressants has thrown her pheromone system out of balance, putting her at constant risk of going into heat.

They meet in a bar when Rong Zhen goes into heat and entangles herself with Xiang Muran, the two of them burning together in the flames.

Xiang Muran is surprised to discover that Rong Zhen's pheromones are the only ones that don't trigger her allergic reaction. The two of them sink into each other.

When she wakes up, Rong Zhen realizes that the little Alpha she got entangled with is only eighteen, and is also the future heir to the company where she works.

Rong Zhen flees in the middle of the night, only to be caught by Xiang Muran.

"We're not right for each other."

"Not because of our ages, or our positions." Rong Zhen refuses her gently.

Xiang Muran slaps a test report onto the table: their pheromone compatibility is 99.9%. She tears through Rong Zhen's calm, restrained facade and digs out the desires hidden deep in her heart.
