The Matriarch's Demeanor [Indian Mythology]

After an accident, a modern girl transmigrates into the world of Indian mythology and becomes Sati, daughter of the creator god Daksha.

She is the reincarnation of the great goddess Shakti, the other half and wife of the god of destruction, and the future mistress of Kailasa.

This is a magical world where having a cheat is perfectly reasonable. Just recently, her father married off thirteen of his daughters to the sage Kashyapa as a package deal.

At the banquet that follows, her tipsy father promises another twenty-seven daughters in marriage to Soma, the Moon God.

Realizing how serious things have become, Sati quietly makes plans to escape. But by chance, she wanders into a place where the gods go to practice austerities and meets the innocent Lord who has shut his heart away.

Does God love all people? God can't love all people.

Even the highest of gods are merely pitiful prisoners of fate.
