Searching for You a Thousand Times (GB)

A friendly heads-up: this is a woman-top, man-bottom story!

Tang Wan has loved Zhong Nanxi, the boy next door who is five years older than her, ever since she first discovered what it meant to have a crush.

She loves the carefree way he calls out "Wanwan" as he rides past her window on his bicycle, dressed in a white shirt.

She loves even more the tenderness in his voice when he ruffles her hair and calls her Wanwan.

But when Tang Wan finally works up the courage to confess, she discovers that there's already a girl by Zhong Nanxi's side.

Watching Zhong Nanxi's hand resting on the girl's head, Tang Wan suddenly thinks that maybe the girl is the one Zhong Nanxi really likes.

So Tang Wan disappears from Zhong Nanxi's life...

When Tang Wan sees Zhong Nanxi again, she's sitting in a bar, drinking herself into oblivion with her friends.

That flash of white and that familiar face appearing out of nowhere make Tang Wan feel as if she's dreaming.

Tang Wan staggers to her feet and puts an arm around his shoulders. Looking into his inscrutable eyes, she asks, "Hey, handsome, want to have a drink with me?"

My own content warnings: 1. They both have secret crushes on each other. 2. The heroine has been with other bottoms, so she's not someone who saves herself for one person. 3. She turns him gay, forcefully!

Theme: Wherever there's light, it's beautiful.
