The Dollhouse

A castle built from jade bricks, spotless display windows, a dreamy entrance encrusted with jewels, and a courtyard filled with blue roses.

It is said that in the two hundred years since this building first appeared, no one nearby has ever seen anyone living inside.

Yet the glowing shelves are restocked with different dolls every day.

So everyone in the area calls this building the Doll Mansion.

Li Li heard from the older generation that every doll inside represented a curse, but he didn't believe it.

And then...?

Li Li: Huh? I, I just went inside, and now I...

Li Li covered his face and wept: I regret it so much now. So, so much.

(I'm planning to write a proper enemies-to-lovers story. I'll work out the characters after I think through what comes next.)

(Temporary blurb, to be polished later)

The Bible says demons are extraordinarily beautiful on the outside so they can tempt humanity.
