With no memories, Duan Zhuzheng wakes from a daze to find her aunt beaming as she urges her to put on red clothes.

Duan Zhuzheng smiles too. "Put down the knife behind your back before you say that."

Duan Zhuzheng and Duan Yuchi are cousins who have competed over everything since childhood.

After losing her memory, Duan Zhuzheng thinks she has just transmigrated, and can't understand why Duan Yuchi hates her so much.

During the third loop, she hides in the shabby little house where Duan Yuchi took her in the second loop.

Zhao Minglang returns with news: Duan Yuchi is dead, and before dying she wrote the three bloody characters of Duan Zhuzheng's name on the ground with a severed finger.

Duan Zhuzheng falls silent for a moment.

As she leaves the little house, she sees Duan Yuchi's "ghost." She doesn't know whether she's developed a mental illness or Duan Yuchi hated her so much that she refuses to leave her alone, even in death.

Duan Zhuzheng asks gleefully, "Who killed you?"

Seeing Duan Zhuzheng talking to empty air, Zhao Minglang asks in confusion, "Who are you talking to?"
