The thing Zhu Ci regretted most in her life: listening to He Yan's nonsense and going undercover among the interstellar pirates.
After trembling with fear and biding her time, she was just about to take out her immediate superior when the pirate captain sent her to the backward Third Interstellar Sector, supposedly to break new ground and expand the business.
She piloted a battered old spaceship there in misery, only to learn after landing that her sole subordinate had already been admitted to a psychiatric hospital (?).
To establish herself as a good boss, Zhu Ci took a bouquet of flowers to pay the subordinate a visit.
She had no idea she'd never make it back out.
The flowers scattered across the floor, and she became the psychiatric hospital's thirteenth patient.
The doctor swept his gloomy gaze over Zhu Ci, strapped to the operating table, and said slowly, "You're sick."
Zhu Ci's eyes flew open. As she thought back over the past twenty-three years, she realized that those words had always been said to He Yan, never to her.
Without a care for Zhu Ci's life, the doctor gave a bloodthirsty, cold smile, pulled out a buzzing, spinning chainsaw, and said feverishly, "Don't worry, my little white... my patient. I'll cure you."
Thirteen patients were thrown into a massive healing game for treatment.
First game, Zhu Ci: I'm going to pretend to be crazy!
Second game, Zhu Ci: So you really are all crazy!
Third game, Zhu Ci: Heh, you're all putting on an act for me!
Fourth game, Zhu Ci: Then I'll put on an act too!
*The characters won't all get along. Stabbing each other in the back is par for the course.
*He Yan is the heroine of a neighboring novel. You don't need to have read it, and she doesn't appear in this story.

Those are my pet peeves, thanks. Bows.jpg
