The Robin

Inspired by watching The Courage to Leave. I owe it a movie ticket.

I became a robin, perched on a branch and singing.

At the first song, my husband came back to life.

At the second, my son came back to life.

At the third, my mother-in-law came back to life.

At the fourth, my father-in-law came back to life.

At the fifth, my mother came back to life.

At the sixth, my father came back to life.

They all came back to life, but they couldn't find me, and they were terribly sad.

With no food, they caught the robin, plucked out my feathers, and tore me open.
