Why Did the System Shut Itself Away?

System 999 had finally been promoted to a permanent position, and was waiting for its very first Host. The Host was named Zhaoxi. She had bright eyes and pearly white teeth, looked like a heavenly beauty, and had an especially sweet smile! 999 was dazzled by the girl’s smile and thought sadly: What a shame. A beauty like this has ended up in the Heartbreak Division. She’s sure to be tortured until she cries. Two worlds later, 999 stared at its performance score of -10,000 and cried from all the torment. First world: Snow Reflection, the True Person of Mingxue Peak, brought a little apprentice back from the mortal realm. She looked about six-tenths like his female disciple, who had fallen into the Demon Abyss ten years earlier! When told she was a substitute, Zhaoxi was curious. "There’s someone in this world who’s six-tenths as beautiful as me? Let me see what kind of peerless beauty she is." 999 looked at the script in its hands, where the two women were mortal enemies, and fell silent. Second world: The beloved little princess of the Colorless City found a dying little beggar in the snow and brought him home. The beggar would grow up to become the villain who destroyed the world. Once he turned evil, he would massacre the entire city and turn the world into a living hell. 999 read from the script: Zhaoxi, you have to bring him warmth, change his heart, and teach him what love is. Zhaoxi looked confused, then sent the little beggar packing with one stroke of her knife before he could destroy the world. Core theme: No one gets to control someone else’s life
