To ease the pressure on its senior students, Shengjing No. 2 High School organized a summer camp.
When Xie Ning saw a string of olive pits, polished until they shone black, hanging from the wrist of a scarecrow in the fields, she nearly lost her faith.
So this was how she died?
Wen Nansheng was vacationing in Gulou Town when she unexpectedly ran into Xie Ning. Wearing a sweet, harmless smile, Xie Ning gripped the scarecrow by the neck with one hand and ripped off a wooden plaque.
Wen Nansheng raised an eyebrow. She'd been searching everywhere for this, and now it had practically landed in her lap.
The former cadre's sealed meeting minutes
[Several fragments of audio remain. They're muffled and full of static, as if someone deliberately damaged them.]
First recording:
"I'm Li Ping, the third mayor of Gulou Town. Today is my first day in Gulou Village. Everyone here is smiling. They must be welcoming me, right?
Maybe it's just my imagination, but when I turned around, they were all staring at me in unison. It startled me.
Perhaps customs differ from place to place. I've heard about the Laughing Buddha Temple near the village. I'll definitely go have a look when I get the chance."
Second recording:
"I'm finally on vacation. I went to the Laughing Buddha Temple..."

The next novel will be "Forced to Marry the Crown Princess After Reincarnating as a Villainess"
[Blurb below. Please add it to your collection]
The Qin family of Jinzhong was once one of the three great merchant houses and had even been appointed an "Imperial Merchant," but years of snow disasters and the head of the family's inaction sent it into decline.
The only thing they had left to boast of was Qin Zhao, the most beautiful woman in the world.
Qin Zhao was not only a spy for the Qin family head, but also kept committing evil deeds out of jealousy toward the original heroine.
In the end, she died by the Crown Princess's sword, and her entire family was massacred.
A forensic portrait artist muttered a few complaints about a badly ended novel and transmigrated into Qin Zhao, the villainess.
By the time she came to her senses, she was already on the phoenix bed in the Eastern Palace, with half her clothes removed.
Song Zhejiu looked down at her, arrogant and cold-eyed, and warned her not to try any tricks.
Qin Zhao blinked at her. Seeing the other's swollen lips, she nodded obediently, as docile as a little white rabbit. To survive, she planned to keep her head down and avoid the fate of a disposable character.
Not long afterward, the head of the Qin family came to the palace to see Qin Zhao. Only then did Qin Zhao realize she was nothing but a "tool" abused by the family. Before she could come clean to the Crown Princess, a murder took place in the palace.
The victim was the original heroine's personal maid.
Qin Zhao was still suspected of being the murderer. In the Hall of Golden Chimes, Song Zhejiu was frantic with worry and staked her position as Crown Princess on uncovering the truth.
That night, the original heroine wept like a pear blossom in the rain and clutched Qin Zhao's hand. "Don't worry. I won't let you suffer an unjust accusation!"
Qin Zhao ultimately cleared her name with her own abilities, and the plot took a dramatic turn.
After the Qin family members who'd done evil got their just deserts, she swept her sleeves and left without a trace.
But just a few days after she left, she opened the door to find Song Zhejiu pointing at the kiss marks still visible on her fair neck, looking utterly aggrieved.
"How could you bear to leave me behind?"
* Both leads are sexually inexperienced, one-on-one romance, happy ending.
* Not based on real people or events. Please don't associate it with real life. Muah.
Core theme: Face difficulties head-on.
The first chapter has a really bad look and feel, I suggest you change it
When writing Lily, you should be careful not to pair the female protagonist with a male character. To be honest, when the other protagonist came out, I thought it was a male character. The subject matter is relatively niche to begin with, so no one will watch it. I sincerely suggest that you read other Lily articles and revise them.
Xie Ning and Lai Lai have more interactions than her CP 😂
There are so many typos, which really affects the look and feel.
Are they too indifferent to seeing the scarecrow students? They don't even talk to each other. It's like looking at the props as if nothing happened.
Can this town really have batches of people coming to study? If they can't get out, won't all the strange things in this town be exposed? And every time someone is killed, this is a place with a high crime rate even if it is not caused by strange forces and chaos. Who dares to come?
Sometimes the people in this town make me feel like living people, embarrassed and gossipy; sometimes I feel like dead people, especially the hotel front desk and inspection team. It feels like not all people here are brainwashed, but some people are forced to abide by the rules due to bullying.
There should be collusion within and outside the town. Infrastructure, tourism, and a whole set of administrative teams cannot be built by internal isolation alone. If you want to eliminate even one foreign population, it is not possible for a small town to close everything. The real mayor has probably been replaced. Now this person doesn't look like the mayor or an NPC who has completed the task, so the ceremony is so grand.
Let's talk about why Xie Ning didn't just use the hotel's phone number to call the police for rescue. Xie Ning accepts all strange situations too quickly. He is not an ordinary person at all.
In fact, I suspect that the hotel phone cannot communicate with the outside world at all. The principal is the accomplice who sent them to be sacrificed. He only called them to stabilize them.
I originally thought it was a gathering place for evil cults, but it turns out there really is an evil god.
""School uniform. ""Catch a big bug for the author~
