Are Hopeless Romantics a Good Fit for Sports Manga?

[Paid chapters begin] This story will become a paid novel on April 30, starting with Chapter 22. I hope you’ll continue to support it! The tennis club members discovered that their new captain had plenty of little secrets 1. Every lunch break, he’d take his phone and go up to the roof to make a call by himself. 2. While supervising the club members’ training, he’d always find time to reply to messages on his phone. 3. Every day, he brought three lunch boxes: a generous lunch, cute snacks, and honey-lemon slices to restore his energy. 4. After school, sometimes he’d even leave his childhood friend, the vice captain, behind and walk off alone, saying he had a D-A-T-E! They were convinced there had to be some secret they weren’t supposed to know. Then came the next year’s recruitment season. A cute pink-haired junior who had drawn the attention of the entire school the moment he enrolled submitted an application to join the club. He said, “If you make Yukimura unhappy, you should just die.” They got it. He was a toxic superfan. [Reader’s Guide] 1. There’s angst in the childhood chapters at the beginning. 2.
