I Caught the God of Love, Then Cast Him Aside, and He Turned Dark [Western Fantasy]

Chu Yishu was an apostle of Atas Rui, the god of desire and calamity. The two things he was best at were chopping up fallen ones who trespassed in his rose garden to make flower fertilizer, and seducing gods who came to hunt until they succumbed to desire and wicked thoughts.

He was both prey and hunter.

Every three hundred years, the Divine Realm held a hunt for the gods in the "Lost Paradise."

When Eros, the god of love, saw Chu Yishu in the Lost Paradise, Chu Yishu was watering the roses in his garden with his own blood.

Eros saw Chu Yishu look up and smile at him, alluring and bewitching. "Lord Eros, have you come to hunt in the Lost Paradise too?"

Eros's heart skipped a beat.

Like a forbidden fruit ripened and placed before him, his belated coming of age arrived in that instant. Desire surged through Eros, but he forced himself to remain calm. "Unfortunately, the prey in the Lost Paradise is cunning. I haven't caught a single one."

"Doesn't that mean you'll lose the competition?" Chu Yishu said regretfully. He approached Eros, seeming to reach for those magnificent white wings.

Blood from the wound on Chu Yishu's wrist dripped onto the white wings.

A god's wings shared their sensations with his soul. As Eros felt the touch on his wings, a shiver of pleasure ran through him, and almost instinctively, he spread them to enclose Chu Yishu beneath them.

"Lord Atas Rui gave me the right to hunt, but I am also prey kept in the Lost Paradise." Nestled in the soft wings, Chu Yishu tipped his head back slightly. His smile was like a showy crimson rose, beguiling the heart and mind. "So, Lord Eros..."

"Catch me. I'll be yours."

"Rather than hunting... I seem to have lost a little apostle I've kept for a long time. Have you seen him?" Eros lowered his eyes and asked, his gaze shadowed.

◆ Narcissistic romance, sort of a split-self story. The shou is the gong's creation, a god of love who wholly worships him, made by splitting off half of the gong's soul.

◆ The main story is told from the shou's perspective. The shou suffers from amnesia and is a flirtatious heartthrob, but also a scumbag and a lunatic.

◆ This follows no existing mythology. Everything is made up.

◆ This story isn't long. I'll prioritize starting it when I have time.

Premise: Love
