[Harry Potter] A Midsummer Guest

In a world of magic, it seems that fate has decreed that "summer" and encounters are forever intertwined.

For instance, in the height of summer in 1899, in Godric's Hollow, Albus met Gellert and fell into two months of intoxicating passion.

Or, beneath the grassy shade of a tree on a summer day in 1969, Severus met Lily, and encountered emerald eyes and a lifetime of regret.

But what Evita never expected was that, in the height of summer in 1989, she would unexpectedly get the chance to visit Ottery St Catchpole.

Then, beside a rabbit hole on Stoatshead Hill, she would meet eleven-year-old Cedric Diggory.

"At first, I only thought of you as the key that would unlock my memories."

That summer, at the end of fifth year, Evita stood on the Astronomy Tower, looking at Cedric's bright gray eyes, and thought this.

"But now, I swear I'll make sure you survive."

※※※Important Notice※※※

1. Written for love, not contracted. Main pairing: Cedric x Evita (Ced x Vibi), Hufflepuff and little eagle.

2. Harry is gender-swapped (Harri) and reborn (the reason will be explained). The pairing will most likely be Draco.

3. The heroine will meet Harry before the original timeline. Harry's parents are alive, and the original events are radically changed, so this novel could also be called Transmigration and Rebirth Save the Wizarding World (doge).

As a self-proclaimed ordinary Japanese high school girl, the two biggest surprises in your eighteen years of life were:

Your dad remarried, bringing thirteen "brothers" to live under the same roof as you,

and you somehow got bound to a "Romance War System."

The System earnestly explains that it can simulate all kinds of romantic situations for you.

All you have to do is play the heroine and successfully complete the simulations. Not only will you make up for your lack of experience, since you've never been in a relationship in real life, but you'll also get an extra mystery gift pack.

Even though you doubt the System is reliable, you decide to give it a try.

...And that's how you end up dead.

*

When you receive the System's notification, you've just completed another romance simulation quest and are about to open the door and leave your room.

Someone knocks on your bedroom door from the outside.

[Congratulations, Host! Your mystery gift pack x1 has arrived!]

"..."

You look up at the boy in front of you. He looks exactly like the male lead from the simulation, with long, sharply arched brows and eyes as bright as stars. He says he's your stepmother's son, which means he's your "brother."

With a crash, the mug in your hand hits the floor.

So the System's mystery gift pack means you'll meet the male lead from the simulation in real life?

But nobody told you that the male lead from the simulation would be your "brother" in real life!

*Your romance simulation events (ongoing):

Drunkenness, Truth or Dare, Love at First Sight

Mixer, Dares, Couple Outfits

Secret Crush, Being Direct, Resisting Beauty

[Day 1 after learning the truth about the simulations:

You (sorrowfully slaughtering zombies in a zombie game): They're my stepmother's sons! There are thirteen of them! Even if you're actually your father's adopted daughter and the adoption has been terminated, it'd still be hard to accept dating them.

[One month after learning the truth about the simulations:

You (watching this group of "brothers" compete for your affection, feeling nothing but a headache): Stop fighting! If you want to fight, get out of the house first!

[N days after learning the truth about the simulations:

You (watching a line of devastatingly handsome guys walk toward you as your classmates scream, remaining completely calm): Haha, I knew they wouldn't pass up the chance to attend my graduation ceremony.

You: Another day of wanting to run away from this tangled battlefield of love (wry smile).

Q: Is dating forbidden in the Asahina family?

A: What's forbidden is you dating anyone else [doge]

Theme: Never look down on the things that moved you when you were young.
