Surrendering to Summer

Childhood friends x bittersweet romance x healing

Adorable but short-tempered top student heroine Xie Zhou x carefree stray dog Cheng Zhou

Everyone said Cheng Zhou had fallen from grace and become a heap of filth.

The former child prodigy had turned into a street punk, his refined manners replaced by a constant stream of dirty jokes.

His childhood friend Xie Zhou refused to believe it. With tender care, thoughtful attention, and gentle words, she would bring her childhood sweetheart back to his old self.

But it didn't work.

Xie Zhou, so angry she puffed up like a pufferfish, beat up her childhood sweetheart.

Well, that did the trick. OVO
