The False God Only Wants to Survive

Jia Xingzhou transmigrated to a land inhabited solely by gods, bringing a card System along with him.

In a world of gods, anyone without divine power, incapable of nurturing a small world, was considered an aberration. Their only fate was to be erased.

As it happened, Jia Xingzhou was exactly that kind of unlucky fellow: a human among the gods.

To avoid being hunted by the gods, he had no choice but to use the cards he'd drawn to impersonate a god, becoming a false god in a land full of deities.

But to his surprise, the longer he kept up the act, the more those haughty gods began to follow him with their eyes.

Jia Xingzhou was panicking on the inside, but he still had to keep up the act. Every day, he walked a knife's edge, and life was thrilling, to say the least.

The gods' gazes never lingered on anyone. They were aloof, domineering, and cold-hearted.

Their realm was nothing but coldness.

Until one day, the arrival of a god changed everything.

The God of Life, staff in hand and lotuses blooming with every step, knelt on one knee. "Lord Xingzhou's divine power contains such a rich breath of life. I cannot compare."

The God of Harvest, wearing a laurel wreath, clasped his hands. "In Lord Xingzhou's presence, I dare not call myself the God of Harvest. I beg you to take pity on me and teach me the way of the harvest."

Together, the gods nominated Jia Xingzhou for the throne of God King.

Jia Xingzhou: "I couldn't possibly."

All he wanted was to stay alive and get by as a false god. Why was even that so difficult?
