A Proper Lady Today, Too (GB)

A transmigrated heroine (Cheng Nian’an), who only wants to be a proper young lady but has maxed-out combat skills, x a frail hero (Song Chengyan), who is extraordinarily intelligent but coughs every few steps

[1]

Before Cheng Nian’an went down the mountain, her master warned her again and again. “When you go down this time, you’ll be the legitimate daughter of the Chancellor’s household. The noble young ladies in the capital are all proper and refined, so make your parents proud, too.”

Cheng Nian’an nodded repeatedly. Proper and refined? She understood!

Who could have guessed that within her first hour down the mountain, she would roll up her sleeves and break her vow? Damn it all, someone was harassing an innocent man in broad daylight!

Then Cheng Nian’an turned around and picked up a sickly, devastatingly handsome man.

There are countless noble young ladies in the capital, but the Chancellor’s legitimate daughter is the only one who was frail from childhood, raised in a Daoist temple, and never seen in the capital.

The noble young ladies of the capital are all of marriageable age, each eager to find the perfect husband. Meanwhile, the old Chancellor quietly betroths his only legitimate daughter to the Emperor’s younger brother, Prince Gong, who is frail and sickly, coughs every few steps, and supposedly has only a few years left to live.

Cheng Nian’an is overjoyed. The wonderful life of a widow is beckoning!

Prince Gong, Song Chengyan, has been frail and sickly his whole life. He can neither lift nor carry anything, and is either taking medicine or on his way to take it. He considers life utterly dull.

Who would have thought a ripple would disturb his peaceful days?

He meets a… proper young lady who can take a life in an instant without batting an eye!
