There are no second chances in life. Even if the path to the dream you love takes a detour, that dream can still give you the resolve to keep going!
Zhao Roujia worked as a skilled nurse, then as a clinical research coordinator, and later as one of the newest nursing case managers. She passed every crossroads where she could have given up and chosen to lie flat, holding fast to her dream. Even though the road was full of bumps and bruises, all she wanted was to be a writer and screenwriter. She hadn't studied either subject in college and had taken plenty of detours, but at last she found her way to the work she loved. Perhaps she was a deserter on the road of medicine, but on the road to her dream, she would always be a warrior.
The path of an independent screenwriter wasn't always smooth, either. Before leaving medicine and entering the entertainment industry, she faced betrayal by her best friend, as well as deceit and scheming from her colleagues. She slowly made her way toward the path she wanted, until at last she found her stepping stone. As one short drama after another aired, she gradually made peace with that stepping stone after a series of arguments. Finally, she met her true patron, Fu Lingkai. Together, they created many hit dramas. Then she found a kindred spirit in Zhuo Shang. As she races toward the future, with her patron and kindred spirit by her side, Zhao Roujia's rise as an independent screenwriter is just beginning!
