The Last Mountain God Gets a New Job [Infinite]

Lin Xingbei isn't human.

She's the last mountain god.

Unfortunately, even gods have it rough in this age when magic is fading. Xingbei has little power and is exceptionally unlucky. People have dug away so much of her that she's now a mound of dirt less than three meters tall.

If she doesn't get out of there, she'll starve to death on the mountain.

So she carries her little mound down the mountain in the dead of night and blends into human society. Strong, tough, and hardworking, she finds a job that barely keeps her fed.

If nothing unexpected happens, Xingbei should be able to work hard and live a peaceful, stable life into old age.

But, as it happens, something unexpected does happen...

Only a few days into her new job, the Survival Game strikes Blue Star, sweeping up every intelligent being on the planet. Xingbei is unemployed again.

Humans, gods, monsters, spirits: everyone is gathered in the mission worlds, starting from the same point.

Everyone else: trembling with fear, treading carefully, going hungry, weeping blood and tears.

Xingbei: I'm just an ordinary little mound of dirt. Please leave me alone, thanks.

So while everyone else struggles to survive and make it through the day, Xingbei sets off on an entirely different kind of adventure.

Cultivation-and-war scenario: Whoa! Such rich spiritual energy! Such pure spiritual water! Gulp, gulp, gulp!

Superpower-apocalypse scenario: Whoa! So many rare beasts! So many rare spiritual plants! Take them home, take them home!

Machine-rebellion scenario: Whoa! A water purifier! A soil remediation device! An automated robot butler! Buy, buy, buy!

In the end, the number-one player on the server, Xingbei, says: How is this an apocalypse? This is clearly my happy place.

Premise: As long as you're willing to work hard, you can make a comeback anywhere.
