Dating Sasuke (Naruto)

(Told in third person.)

I somehow ended up as Sasuke's wife.

My husband always looks at me strangely, as if he's seeing someone else through me.

But it doesn't matter. He's handsome.

On his journey of "atonement," I sit to the side and watch my husband slice through enemies like he's chopping vegetables, then clap and cheer like a little seal.

Whenever that happens, he wears a complicated, wistful expression, and it leaves me with a lump in my throat.

Oh no.

I think I might be falling for him.

After much soul-searching, I decide to end this twisted relationship: tell my husband where I came from and go to Konoha to file for divorce.

...But before I can say a word, a strange Otsutsuki kicks me into a time tunnel.

When I open my eyes again, I find that my husband, who used to be as untouchable as a flower growing on a high peak, has shrunk into a tiny three- or four-year-old.

"You're so pretty."

Little Sasuke holds out a toy to me, who has shrunk just like him.

Then he turns to my late eldest uncle and asks, "Brother, can I really not marry her?"

Me: "...My feelings are complicated.jpg"

Itachi covers his mouth, smiling warmly.
