It teased him, bullied him, and tormented him, trying to force him to beg for mercy.

It never expected him to turn the tables time and again, until one day he was gravely wounded and on the brink of death, laid out on an operating table. The evil spirit seized its chance.

The evil spirit possessed the doctor.

The blade traced across his beautiful body, and a rose that would never wither slowly blossomed. The spirit couldn't get enough, gazing obsessively at the face humiliated to the verge of losing composure. "Beg me."

Bai Weixue moved a finger.

The evil spirit smiled with delight. "Even if you beg, I won't save you."

In the next instant, its smile froze on its face.

Bai Weixue plunged a scalpel into the spirit's body and managed a smile with the little strength he had left.

"I'll haunt you even after I die."

Slowly, its desire to humiliate and toy with him spiraled into a damp, twisted possessiveness.

One day, an admirer tucked a red rose into Bai Weixue's arms, and a rash immediately broke out across his skin.

Before he could refuse, a gust of cold wind rushed in through the window. His scalp prickled. He hurriedly slapped an invisibility talisman onto his admirer. No sooner had he done so than a damp, icy body pressed against his back, radiating aggression.

"You hid him."

"Where did you hide him?"

"In the closet? Behind the curtains? Or... under the desk?"

The admirer trembled with fear, on the verge of tears.

But Bai Weixue didn't look at him. He only stared at the evil spirit, his expression faintly mocking. "What, are you going to confess to me too?"

The evil spirit's expression darkened. It concealed the rampant, twisted jealousy in its eyes and forcefully gripped Bai Weixue's handsome face.

A while later, Bai Weixue swallowed the allergy medicine the spirit had fed him. His lips were swollen and chapped as the spirit murmured suggestively in his ear:

"No. I want to defile you."

The shattered phone lay on the floor, its screen glowing blue. A new message had appeared in the monitoring app: it was the conversation he'd had with someone else just seconds earlier.

The door suddenly opened. Bai Ling looked up in a panic and watched the man walk toward him step by step. His voice was hoarse and low.

"Why are you trembling?"

Jiang Cisheng glanced at him and replied coolly, "I dated someone once. They ran away the day after we got married."

Bai Ling immediately understood. He rummaged around, finally found a card, and handed it to him. "It's okay! Technology is advanced these days. Anything can be cured."

Jiang Cisheng looked down. The card had a urology clinic's phone number printed on it.

Later, Bai Ling tearfully admitted he shouldn't have assumed there was something wrong with him, and begged him to stop.

Jiang Cisheng took off his hearing aids and tossed them aside, then went even harder. "I can't hear you. Speak louder."
