Assumed Surrender

Unhinged, obsessive top x sickly, sweet-on-the-outside-but-dark-within bottom

--I've longed for you countless times in the dark, wanting to make you mine.

Ji Lin was only seventeen when he met Xiao Yan.

As gentle as a lamb.

He would agree to anything, give up anything.

Everyone around them knew Xiao Yan wasn't right in the head. He treated Ji Lin's devotion with contempt, looking at him coldly and using him as a pawn.

The day Xiao Yan used him up and threw him away, he sneered, "Serves you right."

Ji Lin said nothing. He only held him, compliant as ever, never resisting.

Want him to leave?

That could be arranged.

His friends said Ji Lin was obsessive. Of all people, why choose this lunatic? It was downright stupid to be with him.

Ji Lin only smiled.

It was never Xiao Yan himself that he craved.

It was the surrender in those dark nights when he didn't want to wake up, when he wanted to make Xiao Yan his.

Until the very end.

Even with Xiao Yan kneeling before him, confessing his sins over and over, Ji Lin remained gentle.

He smiled, revealing sharp teeth like a lamb. "What's wrong?"

1. A groveling redemption arc. This blurb is temporary and may change.

2. I really want to write a lunatic, and I really want to write an old-school melodramatic tragedy. Please add it to your favorites!

3. Neither of them is sane. This is a story about one lunatic meeting someone even crazier. There is covert exploitation and mind control, but, unexpectedly, they are perfectly suited to each other and have no choice but to bond.

4. If I can't resist, I might write this alongside The Perfumer.
