When Monsters Come to Kindergarten

Teacher Xiaoyue gets up early, tidies herself up, and heads to kindergarten for another perfectly ordinary day.

Until the principal calls her out.

The slender principal's waist bulges unnaturally beneath her clothes. Foul-smelling slime silently trickles from under her skirt. Her murky eyes stare straight at Xiaoyue as she says, "Teacher Xiao He is sick. She went home unexpectedly."

Xiaoyue looks at the red bits stuck to the principal's meticulously done porcelain veneers.

Her teaching partner isn't coming back.

The familiar kindergarten is no longer safe. She has to get the children out.

The apocalypse arrives without warning. Overnight, everything changes. People with weapons burn, kill, and loot, running wild amid cries that fill the sky.

Until one day, while out robbing people, they come across a school bus, and a few little tykes climb out.

The Star Class children, clutching their magic wands: "It's up to us to save the world!"

Chaos descends. Deformed, grotesque monsters take over the world, burying countless bones and bodies. At last, the survivors put together three rules:

* If your companion starts repeating words unconsciously, stay away. It's the beginning of mutation.

* If your companion develops an appetite for you, stay away. It's a partially formed creature.

* Final warning: normal adults do not have "superpowers." If you find an adult with "superpowers," run immediately or kill them on the spot.

Jiang Yue, who just so happens to have "superpowers": ?

The Star Class children raise their magic wands high: "Don't bully our teacher!"

Later, the survivors add one more thing: If you come across a school bus while fleeing, you can ask them for help, but don't get into a fight with the humanoid monsters among them.
