None of those versions match the version I later revised after discussing it with readers and taking their feedback in the comments, or the version I proofread for the custom print edition. I was worried people might get confused if they read the story without checking the reviews, so I squeezed in time around work and made extensive revisions, adding many plot points and smoothing out the story's progression. There are no longer any loose plot threads, and every reason behind the early setup has been explained. So I hope the people who read pirated copies and then run around slandering my writing as trash and my thinking as muddled will take a good look at themselves.
