[Hunter X Hunter] Naka Also Reincarnates in Meteor City

[This is a free work written purely for love. Please don't give it a low rating on reading lists because I don't update often. If you can't stand that, keep scrolling.]

The first time Chrollo saw Nakahara Chuuya, Chuuya was standing on top of a man twice his size.

"You dare provoke me? Who do you think you are?"

The sky over Meteor City was dark and murky, dimming the young boy's normally vivid auburn hair. But his eyes were a bright cobalt blue, his gaze fierce and vicious. By the time he spoke, the man under his foot had already lost all ability to fight back.

The next second, the young boy with his vivid, fiery coloring turned toward him, curled his lips, and gave a contemptuous laugh.

"Are you... here to die, too?"

In that moment, the future bandit leader clearly recognized what he wanted.

"I want to make him my treasured possession, or destroy him."

"Your breathing is a natural disaster. A god with a beating heart, you are alone, and no one understands you. You can become neither human nor god, so you struggle between the two until you finally die with your arms wrapped around yourself, unless you come to me."

Ever since he was born, these words had appeared in Nakahara Chuuya's mind from time to time. He didn't know who they came from, but it didn't matter anymore. Living in Meteor City, what difference did it make whether he was human or a god?

All he knew was that he had to survive, no matter what.

Content Warnings:

* Chuuya was born in Meteor City in this story, so his personality will be different.

* Unusual crossover pairing. Probably everyone has one-sided feelings for someone. OOC is on me.

* When I started writing this, the Hunter x Hunter manga hadn't reached its current arc, so Meteor City still has that old-fashioned, stereotypical flavor.

Theme: No matter what difficulties you face, you must keep fighting to live
