The One He Cherished

[Sweet romance / Healing / Mutual devotion / A battered, broken receiver x a gentle, assertive, devoted giver]

"During the term of this agreement, Party B is responsible for cooperating with Party A in intimate activities, including but not limited to hugging and kissing..."

Jiang Yu lowered his eyes and read the clauses in the contract.

His family's circumstances had changed drastically overnight, and Jiang Yu had no choice but to take on their debts and his mother's medical bills. Aside from going to class, he spent all his time working.

The interest that had piled up over the years and the hospital's tens of thousands in long-term care fees were more than enough to break this camel, who was already close to losing his mind.

So when the man's secretary showed up with a contract, Jiang Yu's only demand was more money.

Lu Chengzhou smiled. "To make sure Jiang doesn't run away, I'll cover your debts and medical bills every month. I'll also give you a generous allowance each month. Outside of class hours, I expect you to be available whenever I call."

"I will."

The so-called agreement was just a pretty name for it. Jiang Yu should have despised this kind of arrangement, but he was exhausted and close to breaking. When someone told him they could help, of course he would cling to them like a dodder vine.

"Lu Chengzhou, I'm scared."

Someone who appeared so suddenly, like a god, wouldn't mind a believer covered in sweat and mud.

"Don't be afraid. I've got you in my arms."
