Has the Immortal Venerable Succeeded in Getting a Divorce Today?

[A feel-good story, updates whenever, not abandoned, and will definitely be completed]

Immortal Venerable Heng Zhou wanted a divorce every single day.

Ever since he returned from his tribulation, he’d lost all his memories and somehow acquired a Dao Companion.

His Dao Companion might be sickly enough to cough up blood every three steps, but he was also unruly, willful, and arrogant. He abused his status as the Immortal Venerable’s Dao Companion to act like a complete menace, never watched his tongue, and argued with everyone in the world. If he couldn’t win an argument, he’d fight instead. He’d put the entire sect through the wringer, and was hated by everyone, from people to dogs.

Heng Zhou was steady and kindhearted. He felt their personalities were incompatible, so they might as well get divorced.

On the first day he planned to ask for a divorce, his Dao Companion got into a dispute and beat up an innocent passerby. Everyone condemned him, but Heng Zhou discovered the passerby had committed all sorts of evil deeds.

Heng Zhou: I suppose my Dao Companion was delivering justice on Heaven’s behalf. Today isn’t the day to ask for a divorce. Perhaps next time.

On the second day he planned to ask for a divorce, his Dao Companion got injured and coughed up blood.

Heng Zhou was busy taking care of him. Today wasn’t the day to ask for a divorce. Perhaps next time.

On the third day he planned to ask for a divorce, it was his Dao Companion’s parents’ death anniversary.

Today wasn’t the day to ask for a divorce, either. Perhaps next time.

On the Nth day he planned to ask for a divorce,

the whole sect waited eagerly: Surely they’ll finally get divorced today...

A seemingly aloof, dependable older top × a sickly, tragic bottom who’s both beautiful and powerful

1. A feel-good story, updated whenever, but it will definitely be completed.

2. The bottom is unruly, but isn’t all that bad.
