By the time she was a hundred, Mira had worked her way up to major in the universe-famous warrior species, the Xinghui race!
Mira was quite proud of herself.
After all, the Xinghui were so united,
so mighty in battle, and so extraordinary in their wisdom.
And she had been born into such a remarkable race, with talent that was considered exceptional even among her own people.
Unfortunately, a space storm swept her to a primitive planet with a rating too low to qualify: Blue Star (romance version).
Worse, all she had left was an escape pod with its power depleted. Her partner, an intelligent life-form, had become a stupid life-form after its entire mainframe was destroyed. The planet she had landed on also had powerful rejection rules.
Fortunately, she landed right beside the body of a member of a species favored by the planet, whose consciousness had already vanished.
Thus began Mira's life impersonating a local. It had a few minor bumps, but was otherwise going smoothly as she waited for the day she could go home.
Luckily, there was a way forward for the Xinghui. During her impersonation, she ran into a clawed alien who had also fallen onto Blue Star. This famous little weakling of the universe even had a damaged spaceship with him!!!
Male lead's perspective
Okt, a tentacled member of the Claw Star race, had an unfortunate encounter with a space storm while out exploring.
Who would have thought that after ending up on a primitive planet, he would run into his nemesis species, a bunch of muscle with no brains?
But with the spaceship's power and weapons systems completely destroyed, and his own skin thin and flesh tender, he had no choice but to swallow his pride and cling to his nemesis if he wanted to get home. And so began his journey home, which had a few bumps but was otherwise going smoothly.
The swindling scholar who got beaten to death, the emperor who wanted to take a concubine and was challenged to a duel, the second son who wanted to seize the family business... All sorts of victims cried out in outrage:
"You call those bumps in the road? You got rid of every last one of ours!!!"
Little skit:
During a fight, Mira repeatedly wanted to throw the useless weakling on her back off, but the transparent tentacles behind her clung on tight.
Okt was crying his eyes out, clinging desperately to his nemesis, but still managed to issue a three-part warning.
"Can you repair a spaceship?"
"Can you repair a smart brain?"
"Do you want to stay here for ten thousand years?"
All three strikes hit home. Mira was knocked out, and from then on she had no choice but to bring the little weakling along on the difficult search for materials...
