[Coming soon: the female-led fantasy romance A Desperate Escape with My Nemesis, and the male-led no-romance story I Prove the Dao Through Technology. Their blurbs are at the end. Please add them to your collection. I bow in thanks!]
A web novelist accidentally travels back to the late Ming dynasty and becomes Feng Menglong.
With Chongzhen's ascension to the throne just around the corner, he needs to make some money before war breaks out. Life won't be easy for an ordinary commoner then.
As the saying goes, when your family background falls short, talent can make up for it.
So he decides to use what he learned from writing online fiction to write storybooks and earn enough to put food on the table.
He works hard at writing while racking his brains to fight piracy.
Luckily, he gets a bookstore up and running, starts a story-writing class, and even builds a fan club.
But in the late Ming, storybook writers are looked down on. Though readers adore his work, he is constantly criticized by the narrow-minded and stuffy.
Enough is enough! There's no need to put up with it any longer!
It's time to fight back!
Reader's Guide:
1. This is the first online novel I've written. Feel free to give it a try. The story is complete, with three updates a day at 12:00, 18:00, and 21:09. I'll add more if there's strong demand in the comments.
2. If you spot anything unreasonable in the plot or characterization, feel free to let it all out in the comments. I don't have time to revise this one, but I'll keep it in mind for future stories.
3. The male lead has no ambition to change the late Ming. He just wants to make some money.
4. All the stories are adapted from Feng Menglong's San Yan. The late Ming novel and publishing markets have a lot in common with today's online fiction market, and exploring those similarities is one of the main focuses of this story.
5. The tone is goofy and funny, but not brainless. If you're looking for a serious, thought-provoking story, please check out the sci-fi series next door.
Thanks for reading.
[Coming soon: I Prove the Dao Through Technology, a cyber-fantasy take on primordial prehistory, blending fantasy and sci-fi]
In the primordial age, the Yuanmu Dynasty was founded.
The Yuanmu Dynasty rules over the great clans, the four cultivation sects devoted to mastering magic and seeking immortality, and the Refinement Sect, which is wholly committed to advancing technology.
Shi Yu is reincarnated as the last member of the Gonggong clan. He controls the Magnetic Counterbalance Bank, which holds the reins of the entire planet's economy and energy supply, making him undeniably the richest man around.
But when he wakes up, he finds that the richest man in the world is already dead and buried underground, sealed inside a tightly shut coffin.
Fortunately, he was buried with a Manual of Cultivation Magic, which can help him split open the coffin and come back to life.
He discovers that his golden finger is impressively practical.
When the court calls on people to mine energy on Jupiter, he simply has someone assemble a fully equipped spaceship, and on the way back, he even brings along three extraordinarily capable robots who were stationed in space.
But being super rich is just a minor misconception everyone on Yuan Star has about him. After all, he invests everything in developing technology only because he wants to travel back to his own time.
Before he can achieve his wish, however, he comes to understand the ultimate truth on Yuan Star and attains godhood through the righteous path. He helps humanity, driven to the brink of extinction, achieve reincarnation and eternal life, and rebuild civilization.
Reader's Guide:
1. Cyber-fantasy in primordial prehistory meets post-apocalyptic punk: high technology and low living standards in a primordial setting, with a spirit of resistance. It's a made-up term, so just get the idea. The starting point of human civilization may once have been the end of another civilization.
2. The story includes some sci-fi concepts, including but not limited to quantum technology, nanotechnology, artificial superintelligence, digitized consciousness, geomagnetic control, and folded time. Each concept will be explained in an easy-to-understand way, along with the similarities it shares with cultivation magic. Fantasy and sci-fi have many elements that are fundamentally the same, even if expressed differently.
3. Happy ending.
Theme: Write with care, and eat well.
Let me make a complaint first, aren't you afraid of mosquito self-healing in this timeline?
The author has good writing skills, but I felt that the characters and plots were exaggerated, giving it the feel of a stage play. Give me a chance, a coincidence, and push the male protagonist to do it. Unsteady Although the novel is originally viewed from a God's perspective, it feels difficult to get into it...
After watching the beginning, the male protagonist felt very frivolous, a bit like a male video
Didn't you apply for the list? Thirty thousand words are a whip, and fifty thousand red words. Without a list, not many people will see the article. I work so hard and hope it will become a hit.
The Fang family's father and son look quite similar to Hi and Pi.
If you know dice, you should also know that dice are dice.
The old man's story can be summed up.
The characters are vividly drawn... Read it. Newcomers come to study with "The Mark of Time" and hope for advice.
Didn't the male protagonist get the memory of the original owner after traveling through time?
Claw, please don't post so fast. You usually update once a day. Remember to apply for the list every week. If you post so fast, you will finish it before it is exposed.
