In the year 1038 of the Star Era, Prince Logue, the third prince of the Oshuu Empire and a leading contender for the throne, filed for divorce, instantly becoming the center of attention across the interstellar web.
Seven years ago, Logue defied the royal family’s wishes and married Chu Zhi, an Alpha fresh out of military academy, without waiting for their approval. Seven years later, Logue exposed Chu Zhi’s many failings in court, including his shamelessly living off his husband after their marriage. Such an outrageous Alpha immediately became the target of public fury.
As the entire internet cursed Chu Zhi and hoped he would leave the marriage with nothing, some self-proclaimed clever people claimed they had seen through the truth:
Logue had chosen a powerless Alpha so he could remain in the royal family after the wedding and secure his claim to the throne. Now he was using the divorce to drive his approval rating to new heights. This marriage was probably just one piece of his plan, and Chu Zhi was the real victim.
But no matter how fiercely people argued over what had really happened, nobody could have guessed that after their bitter clash in court, Logue would sit in Chu Zhi’s lounge and undo his collar.
“My heat is coming. Give me a temporary mark.”
After the third hearing, Chu Zhi finally got exactly what everyone wanted: nothing at all. He breathed a sigh of relief, too.
According to their agreement, all his duties were over. So was his long-held crush.
Afraid Logue would think he wanted something in return, Chu Zhi had never told him he loved him.
Because of those feelings, Chu Zhi had never dared to cross the line of their agreement. Logue had already faced enough obstacles. Chu Zhi didn’t want to become another one, and was afraid of it more than anything.
Just as Chu Zhi boarded the starship home, ready to begin a new life, a bomb planted by kidnappers sent him back seven years, to three hours before he and Logue registered their marriage.
Back in the graduation exam hall at Capital Star First University, Chu Zhi made a decision:
We’re already divorced, so this time, let’s not get married.
His ex-husband, who had come back in time with him, was bewildered.
Wasn’t our divorce fake?
When they first married, Logue thought the Alpha he had chosen was easy to deal with: a clean background, kept his promises, knew his boundaries, had a good sense of his place, and didn’t treat Logue like a possession.
Later, once Logue truly saw Chu Zhi as his partner, he felt his Alpha was almost too good at keeping his distance. He never showed any possessiveness, had none of the aggression typical of an Alpha, and the furthest he ever overstepped was telling Logue to eat on time.
After being reborn, Logue’s supposed fake divorce became a real one, so he had no choice but to change his plans on the fly.
Everything else could wait. First, he had to trick Chu Zhi into marrying him again.
Logue admits he’s more possessive than his Alpha.
He wants his Alpha to mark him again as soon as possible, then belong to him forever.
In private:
A law-abiding military academy student Alpha, usually non-aggressive x a strong-willed, forward prince Omega
I don’t want you to give up on me, but I’d hate even more to see you give up your ambitions and principles.
More or less, a 0.75-plus-0.25 take on marriage first, love later
Both leads are reborn, one-on-one, happy ending, gong-centric
The shou is two years older than the gong
(Author’s notes: This is a fictional setting that mixes absolute and constitutional monarchy. The emperor has power, but it is limited and divided. The next heir to the throne is chosen by a general election among eligible candidates. As for the science fiction elements, they’re all hand-waved, so don’t overthink them.)
(A few readers have raised concerns, so here’s a heads-up: You can tell from the leads’ personalities that the gong is very gentle with his husband. Even when he says no, he’s kind about it. In the main story, the shou regrets the divorce, while the gong thinks the shou did nothing wrong but is convinced he doesn’t love him. At first, the shou pursues the gong, who keeps retreating, so some readers may find the early chapters frustrating from the POV character’s perspective. After being rejected, the shou realizes what’s going on and confesses. The gong can’t bring himself to make the shou suffer, so he agrees quickly. Then they gradually clear up their misunderstandings, support each other in married life, deepen their bond, and work together toward their goals.)
(The author thinks this is a sweet story. The more I write, the sweeter it gets.)
You’re also welcome to check out my upcoming novel, My Transmigration into a Book Gave Me a Major General Wife, launching in late June.
Blurb:
Xiao Muhong transmigrates into a book and becomes a scummy Alpha side character who accidentally marks and marries Shen Yao, the major general of the Federation and commander of the Second Legion.
Shen Yao is an Omega major general born on a garbage planet, who rose to prominence through extraordinary mental strength and hundreds of battles. In the book, he’s a villain destined to make way for the useless protagonist Omega.
After the protagonist Alpha and Omega finish playing their game of domineering top Alpha and runaway darling Omega, Shen Yao, the protagonist Omega’s ruthless superior and the protagonist Alpha’s rival in the military, will lose all his titles because of the original character’s antics and the protagonist Alpha’s scheming. He’ll become a traitor to the nation, and the naive protagonist Omega who exposes him will take his place. The original character, of course, won’t get a happy ending either.
Luckily, the story has only just begun. Shen Yao has returned victorious, and there’s still time to change everything.
After reading the script, Xiao Muhong plans to calmly discuss working together with Shen Yao. But then he sees the handsome, icy major general:
What do you mean, calmly working together? This is my destined wife! Who dares bully my wife and make him the villain?
The protagonist Omega sneaks off to meet someone during work again, and Xiao Muhong catches him. He tearfully claims he was forced into it. Xiao Muhong sympathizes with him, and the very next day the protagonist Omega gets disciplined.
The protagonist Alpha asks Xiao Muhong to team up against Shen Yao. Xiao Muhong is very tempted, but the moment he gets home, he tells his wife. Together they turn the tables, leaving the protagonist Alpha raging helplessly.
Dealing with that troublesome protagonist Alpha-Omega couple goes smoothly. The only thing bothering Xiao Muhong is that when his wife was marked, he reflexively called out “Xiao Muhong,” and it seems he wasn’t talking to him.
Looking at his partner, who still hasn’t figured out what’s going on and is tearfully asking if Xiao Muhong is treating him like a substitute, Shen Yao rubs his forehead helplessly. “Then let’s try again. This time, listen carefully to whose name you call.”
Xiao Muhong: That doesn’t sound so bad.
After being consumed by jealousy of himself, Xiao Muhong finally remembers that he transmigrated here a long time ago.
He originally wanted to avoid getting involved, but a year ago, he endured the System’s warnings and the agonizing electric shocks, using every ounce of his willpower to choose a different path. Yet he still ran into Shen Yao, his collar half undone and his pheromones in disarray.
After being forced to marry Shen Yao anyway, he changed his mind. He wanted to rewrite Shen Yao’s ending. Even without knowing if he would succeed, he was prepared to pay the price.
Luckily, he won.
A black-hearted-on-the-inside mecha engineer gong x a beautiful, strong, tragic, icy major general shou
There are plenty more upcoming novels in my collection, all waiting for your love!
Theme: Seek the truth amid decay, and walk hand in hand through hardship.
Looks good, I like it!
I feel that many people may click on the copy and want to see the special type of husband-chasing crematorium or something, but in fact the author has made it clear from the beginning of Chapter 1 that this is the content of the contract that the two have long negotiated. It is just that they have been secretly in love because they thought they got married first and then fell in love. The conflict between the two was actually solved very early.
On the contrary, the article has always been about the process of the two of them working together to help each other. I think this is particularly good. It is really hard to see this kind of thing in Jinjiang now. Both parties are normal (due to the "problem" of being a little accustomed to acting on their own and hiding it from others due to things in the previous life, but they soon corrected it in the process of getting along). It was a good article at the same time! There is no need to worry about who is sorry and who is suffering.
The quarrel started before I expected it. Actually, it's not that bad. After all, if you don't want to watch it, you can just click to exit. After all, you made your attitude clear before Chapter V. What else can you watch on a pure love channel if you don't want to watch other people falling in love? Could it be that he just wanted to slap him in the face? The protagonist is pitiful and innocent, and then he has to make up for it when others fail him? It doesn't matter if you like it, but don't force it in articles that don't have this tag.
I would like to express my gratitude to the author. I feel that I have had a very pleasant reading experience. I also hope to see more of your main articles. I really love the main works under the year.
I cried when I saw my subordinates handing over their ideas to others because of money.
Spread flowers ~ I really like Ah Zhi, a gentle, calm and emotionally stable Gong. He and His Highness are a match made in heaven. TAT
Note: A new extra chapter has been added to Chapter 123 (In fact, I also made up some plots later, but I can't write them for the time being orz)
The new article is tentatively scheduled to be released on 6.19. If you like it, please support it.
Help, they are so cute together.
Darlings, if you see changes in this chapter, it is most likely that I changed the previous chapter, and then I added or subtracted two words from the text of this chapter to make the last chapter the latest update.
Thank you everyone for subscribing. The red envelopes for the main text and the extra chapter will be sent out all the time. If you see it, send it. If you still want it, just leave a comment. You don't have to worry about time.
If any new extra ideas appear in this article later, I will notify you and add it to the back (but don't put too much hope). I am currently working on the next article. I will save more manuscripts to ensure more updates. Click to receive or pre-accept. Hold my pre-accepted and shiver.
I finished reading... I opened the author's column and saw that this is the only one that has been completed... I really like a man who is so controlling and is so pampered...
So delicious! ! Like! ! Why is this the first article you wrote? ! ! I wish I could click on the author column now and see ten completed TT novels
