Cool and aloof, fallen heiress [Shang Yu] vs. brash, lovesick nouveau riche heiress [Di Duoduo]
The day Villa No. 2 in the Haiyuan residential compound changed hands was the first time Di Duoduo met Shang Yu. The Di family was moving into their new home, and Shang Yu had come to collect the last of her belongings.
The heiress of the Shang Group had fallen from the heights of privilege overnight, yet she still maintained her impeccable manners. She politely congratulated the new owners on their move, then left with her things.
One glance was all it took for Di Duoduo to become completely lovestruck.
She immediately got her hands on all of Shang Yu's information. Learning that the Shang family was struggling to make ends meet after the group's bankruptcy, Di Duoduo put her hands on her hips and waved dismissively. No problem! Her family might not have anything else, but they had plenty of money!
Shang Yu took a break from school to work.
Di Duoduo: Take my card and spend whatever you like!
Shang Yu was left without a place to stay.
Di Duoduo: Here's a stack of property deeds. Pick whichever place you like.
Shang Yu wanted to start a business.
Di Duoduo: I'll break into my dad's safe and invest in you!
Shang Yu's parents wanted to marry her off to a rich man.
Di Duoduo: Look at me, big sister! I'm rich!
Di Duoduo successfully got the beauty into her arms and couldn't wait to show her off to the whole world. But all her friends said she was a fool with too much money, and that the beauty was only bending to her will for the cash.
Di Duoduo thought that was fine. Even if Shang Yu was only with her for the money, no one else had more money than she did.
Later, Shang Yu's business succeeded and she made a comeback, becoming a rising star. Everyone waited for her to dump Di Duoduo and find someone new, washing away the humiliation of her days in poverty. Even Di Duoduo thought that was what would happen. She took the initiative to tear up their contract, left a divorce agreement behind, and went abroad to clear her head.
In a foreign country, Di Duoduo turned around and found herself gathered into the arms of a travel-worn Shang Yu.
"Listen to me, not to what other people say," Shang Yu said, her voice trembling.
"What do you want to say?"
"Di Duoduo, I love you."
Later, the name of the largest shareholder of Youyang Group, a rising star in the tech industry, was announced. It was Di Duoduo.
At the launch of the company's latest product, founder Shang Yu explained the name with just four words: "A flute's melody, far-reaching."
Di Duoduo looked at the ridiculously long string of digits in her annual dividend and leaned into Shang Yu's arms in dismay. "How am I supposed to spend all this?"
Shang Yu's perspective:
Shang Yu: At the lowest point of my life, a girl appeared before me. She gave me a flower, and I wanted to give her a whole sea of flowers in return.
Reading guide:
1. A lighthearted, sweet little romance. Here's a flower for you. Don't overthink the logic.
2. A world where same-sex marriage is legal.
A quick plug for my upcoming novel, You Are My Possession. If you're interested, feel free to add it to your collection. Here's the blurb:
Arrogant, headstrong heiress [Li Songyan] vs. fiercely loyal bodyguard with incredible combat skills [Xie Song]
As the only heir to the Li family, Li Songyan had everything, including Xie Song, her personal bodyguard since childhood.
She had always considered Xie Song her possession. From elementary school through high school, Xie Song was always by her side, loyal to a fault, and always fulfilled even her most unreasonable demands perfectly. Li Songyan couldn't have been more satisfied.
Li Songyan used to say Xie Song was like a program designed to suit her perfectly. That was until one day, when she glimpsed the self-awareness hidden behind that program and realized Xie Song was planning to leave her.
In her anger, she began looking at the person who had been by her side for over ten years in a different light. Only then did she realize that Xie Song seemed to have feelings for her, and that she was the one who truly couldn't live without the other.
For the first time, Li Songyan realized she owned so little. So little that all she had was Xie Song.
She would rather give up her inheritance and leave everything behind than let go of Xie Song's hand.
"Xie Song, I like you."
She thought she was going crazy, yet she had never been more clearheaded. She went to see Xie Song, her heart full of joy, only to find that Xie Song had received an acceptance letter from a university in China. That very night, Li Songyan's family forcibly sent her abroad.
After five years apart, Li Songyan returned to inherit the company. By then, Xie Song had become a senior executive and Li Songyan's right-hand woman.
After all their twists and turns, the two seemed to have returned to where they started. Only this time, there was someone else by Li Songyan's side.
"If you push me away, you have to be ready to lose me."
"I'm lying. I'll never let you go."
"Because you belong to me."
Xie Song's perspective:
"Everything you give me, I accept with all my heart."
"My greatest regret is the one time in my life I acted on my own."
"Thank you for being willing to let me belong to you again."
Reading guide:
1. One is willing to fight, the other is willing to take it. They both want this.
2. They remain devoted to each other, and only each other, from beginning to end.
3. Set in a fictional world, happy ending.
#Why run away? Stay here and be with me#
Theme: Helping one another, with honesty and love!
It's hard to tell, but Duoduo doesn't like Shang Yu very much. The relationship between the two of them feels that Duoduo has not paid enough attention to Shang Yu, and the communication is not good enough. Although there is no need to deliberately emphasize the sense of boundaries between girlfriend and friend, but there is a central air conditioner. Apart from providing money to Shang Yu, other aspects are somewhat dispensable. It is not like being in love. (Personally, if you think it is wrong, just pretend I didn't say it 🙏)
Until I read this chapter, I personally don't feel that Di cares much about business. It doesn't mean that everything should be business-oriented. Except when throwing money, it just feels like an investor and an investor? Maybe it has something to do with Di's family.
Oh, let me go, what is it?

Something's wrong with me? Why can't you comment?
So far, it has always been the feeling of Duoduo giving.
