The day the Ying family brought back their real young master, the fake young master, Ying Tuowei, had a dream.
He dreamed that the world he lived in was a book, and the real young master was its protagonist.
He was just cannon fodder, trampled under the protagonist's feet. The Ying family would throw him out, investors would block his scripts, and because he was too beautiful to protect himself, he would be given to rich perverts to toy with.
The real young master was about to return. Knowing that writing scripts was the only thing he was good at, Ying Tuowei decided to cling to his former uncle's protection to save his own life.
Ying Chi was the only person in the book the protagonist feared. He was peerlessly handsome and cold as ice.
Most importantly, Ying Chi wasn't one of those perverts.
Ying Tuowei pitifully tugged at Ying Chi's sleeve, not daring to look at anything but the piece of ancient jade hanging from the man's wrist. "Uncle... I mean, Mr. Ying, could you let me stay with you for a while?"
·
Ying Tuowei successfully moved in. He carefully tried to please Ying Chi, but Ying Chi remained aloof and distant.
He coolly thanked him for the tea and little desserts he made.
Ying Tuowei often woke up with mysterious bruises the next morning, and Ying Chi would keep his distance as he handed over some ointment.
It was as if they were strangers sharing a house, with no relationship beyond the fact that Ying Chi had taken him in.
Until the protagonist sneaked over to accuse him of taking over someone else's home and refusing to give up the uncle who didn't belong to him. Ying Tuowei accidentally stumbled into the bedroom at the end of the hallway...
The room was covered in photos of him. The dolls by the wall wore indecent outfits, and every single one had his face.
The protagonist's anguished wail sounded from outside, followed by the crisp click of the lock falling into place.
Ying Tuowei's eyes widened slightly. He turned around, trembling.
The man, immaculate in his formal clothes, approached at an unhurried pace. He raised a hand and traced Ying Tuowei's features inch by inch, the ancient jade brushing over his lower lip.
Ying Chi's eyes were filled with obsessive longing, his voice low and hoarse. "Tuowei, you shouldn't have come in."
That night, Ying Tuowei dreamed about the second half of the book.
He was deceived and fell into the hands of those perverts. Ying Chi descended like a god of war, kicked down the door, and rescued him. Then he brought him into this bedroom.
