Fearing You Is Loving You

Zhuo Qingxu is famous at school for being a homophobic campus heartthrob.

As his roommate, Shi Ran hides his sexuality so he can be friends with him.

Every day he spends with Zhuo Qingxu, he reminds himself not to fall for him, in case he gives himself away.

But his sexual orientation is exposed anyway.

Pale-faced, Shi Ran moves out of the dorm under Zhuo Qingxu's unreadable gaze.

Not long after, he meets someone in a game whose voice sounds a lot like Zhuo Qingxu's.

Though this person knows he likes men, he still plays games with him and chats with him all night.

At a class reunion, Shi Ran gets drunk and Zhuo Qingxu takes him home.

When he wakes up, he sees the birthday gift he'd sent his online love in Zhuo Qingxu's house...

Closeted homophobe x naturally gay, happy ending, a mix of sweet, angsty, and satisfying
