Instead, her subordinate wrote an explicit story about her and the villain, then read it aloud in front of him.

Planned scene 3: Get trapped with the male lead in the secret realm of the Hehuan Sect, accidentally inhale aphrodisiac incense, and get hot and heavy.

Instead, she ran into the villain in the secret realm. Dazed by the aphrodisiac incense, she couldn't resist slipping her hand inside his clothes... orz

After several mortifying mishaps, they finally reached the last plot point: her wedding to the male lead.

Snow fell from the sky like silver butterflies with broken wings. At the end of the phoenix-bird procession stood the villain. Holding an ice umbrella, he strode through the crowd's mingled fury and fear, then gently brushed the flecks of snow from her hair.

His fluffy fox tail crept around her waist, tightening little by little.

He leaned close to her ear and smiled calmly. "Do you think I'm an inn? You can't just come and go as you please."

Xu Lingyao felt his nemesis had been getting more and more entangled with him lately.

His spirit artifact reminded him that his nemesis was probably secretly in love with him.

Too bad her feelings couldn't change the fact that he hated her. The world favored a pretty face, and using his looks to win people's hearts was one of his usual tricks. He'd long since grown used to it.

In the book, the male lead, Jiang Yubai, is sacrificed to an evil dragon by his sect. Just as he's about to become its meal, he uses his looks to fool the dragon into falling for him, then rides it back to destroy the entire sect.

As luck would have it, she became the dragon, and the story had reached the part where she'd set a pot of water to boil and cook the male lead.

Evil dragons are immensely strong. Evil dragons eat people without blinking. Evil dragons make children cry at night and terrify everyone who hears of them... None of that had anything to do with Hua Ran.

She manhandled the male lead with all her might, but even sweating buckets, she couldn't lift him into the pot.

At last, she couldn't take it anymore. "Um... how about you climb in yourself? Remember to put the lid on."

The gloomy young man raised his mesmerizing eyes, stood up, stepped into the water, and began to undress.

Hua Ran: ...You can boil him with his clothes on, you know.

The male lead has no regard for a man's virtue... How could she not love him? (Not really.)
