(In preparation, coming soon)
Jing Xing is a true actor of the highest caliber, with solid skills and impeccable character.
He's practically the model worker of the entertainment industry.
Lately, though, this model worker has been making a beeline for the ophthalmologist.
Because he's fallen for Tan Chengrong.
Tan Chengrong has been in the business for years and is still playing bit parts, with no classic roles to his name. He's also a vulgar, ingratiating social climber, someone you absolutely should not get involved with.
And yet, they ended up acting opposite each other, and Jing Xing put up with all his appalling behavior.
Tan Chengrong clung to his pant leg, looking pitiful, like a soaking-wet dog waiting for someone to take him home.
He might look even better when he cries.
Maybe I should...?
No, no, I can't. That would be an utter disgrace to the arts!
I have to make him leave, as far away as possible!
Tan Chengrong followed him around every day, buttering him up as if he couldn't read Jing Xing's cold expression. He wore down Jing Xing's defenses until his boundaries kept slipping lower and lower.
Jing Xing reluctantly accepted it.
It was all Tan Chengrong's fault anyway.
When filming wrapped, Jing Xing forced himself to stop thinking about him, only to unexpectedly run into Tan Chengrong on another set.
The guy who'd spent months by his side, always rushing over whenever Jing Xing beckoned, had turned around and started flattering the new lead?
Jing Xing put every ounce of his acting skill into maintaining his composure, grinding his teeth in anger.
Tan Chengrong, you really are something.
[Please read these notes before diving in]
1. This is a story told mainly from the pursuer's point of view. There will be the usual emotions that come with a crush, such as resistance and indecision.
2. Neither the top nor the bottom is perfect. This may not suit readers with extreme character preferences.
3. The author expects this story won't please either side, but I happen to like this sort of thing. If it's not your cup of tea, please don't flame me (hiding my head).
4. This is an alternate-world entertainment industry. The setting is the author's own, with no fan affiliations, real-life models, or references.
5. The story focuses on the romance between the two. The entertainment industry is just the backdrop, with almost no career plotline.
