A Woman Becomes Emperor

Blurb

Yan Tong was once a princess cherished by everyone.

Unfortunately, when she was fifteen, she witnessed the iron cavalry of Dayong smash through their palace gates. She also saw her closest family members hanged above the city gates with her own eyes.

She, meanwhile, was sent to the imperial palace of Dayong as a spoil of war.

Everyone waited to see her make a fool of herself, to watch the once-proud princess crumble into the dirt.

But they had all miscalculated.

For she had caught the eye of the Grand Minister of State, The Outcast in Dayong, second only to one and above all others.

Liang Ji was a sinister and ruthless man, skilled in scheming. Even the young emperor on the throne had to treat him with the utmost respect.

The first time he saw her, he brought her into his private quarters, hoping she would be like the other women there and fight them for his favor.

But this was the first time in his life that he had ever misjudged someone.

The position she had set her sights on was the highest one of all...

"A Tong, as long as you come back, I will share this realm with you."

Yan Tong glanced at Liang Ji, a man who had never once bowed his head.

She smiled. "If I can have it all to myself, why should I share it with anyone?"
