Xie Qiao, an archaeology major, young but already world-weary
Jiang Chenyu, in the city construction department, a pretty girl with her head in the clouds when it comes to love
A municipal engineering project is halted pending review after an ancient tomb is discovered. The city construction department sends Jiang Chenyu, a team leader at one of its subsidiaries, to oversee the handover. As luck would have it, on her very first day, she reunites with her high school rival, Xie Qiao, who now works in the archaeology department at Beicheng University.
Xie Qiao is still just as she was: unhurried, unruffled, her dead-fish eyes cold toward everyone. But when she catches sight of Jiang Chenyu by chance, she actually takes off her thick glasses right in front of her.
Jiang Chenyu instantly sees red. She knows all too well how blurry Xie Qiao's vision becomes without her glasses. Does this person really not want to see her that badly?
