Who Doesn't Like a Green Tea?

Chu Yang never understood why men all liked the sweet, delicate type of girl, or the green tea type.

Even her boyfriend of three years was no exception.

Then, on the day she had a 39-degree fever but still insisted on going to the hospital alone for an IV drip, Chu Yang received a breakup call from him.

"I'm sorry, Chu Yang. She needs me more than you do."

After finishing her drip, Chu Yang returned home. Just then, her neighbor's door opened, revealing a fair, youthful-looking face.

The boy wore soft, light-blue loungewear. Still sleepy, he held a bowl of porridge that sent up wisps of steam.

He looked at Chu Yang, his eyes full of worry and sadness.

He said:

"How could your boyfriend let you go to the hospital alone when you're sick?"

"I spent all afternoon making this porridge. I don't mean anything by it. I just want you to get better soon."

"If it were me, I'd take good care of you."

Chu Yang calmly opened the door behind her and beckoned with a finger.

She said, "Cut the chatter. Come in. I'll give you a chance."

That day, Chu Yang figured it out.

A green tea boy who's always fighting for your attention and whose walnut-sized brain is stuffed with thoughts of romance can make you live like royalty, with food brought to you and clothes put on your back.

Who wouldn't like that?! :D

Later, Chu Yang discovers that all the men around her are "novel transmigrators on a conquest mission."

Her flirtatious ex came from a Dianjia novel, her romantic suitor from a Lijiang novel...

She looks at her current boyfriend. "Tell me, where did you come from?"

The green tea boy blushes. "Sis, the Flower Market."

"?"

/From the green tea boy's perspective:

The afternoon he fell in love with Chu Yang at first sight, he moved in next door to her.

At first glance, he wanted to lock her in the house and "do all sorts of things" with her.

The first thing he wanted to say when he greeted her was: Sis, either break up with him or cheat on him with me. Pick one.

But he held back.

He just waved and said shyly, "Hi, sis."
