The Stairway to Heaven [Infinite]

There are people in this world who seem to be alive, yet are worse off than dead; who seem to be dead, yet are still breathing.

That's right: they're patients in vegetative states.

In the Star Era, 3022, WB Technology developed a full-dive game called "Climb to the Heavens" to awaken these patients.

The game stimulates patients' brains and draws them inside, where they climb one ladder after another and overcome obstacle after obstacle. Successfully reaching the summit proves that a patient has passed the test, giving them a 99.9% chance of waking up. If they fail to reach the top, sadly, they will die in the game and be declared dead in the real world as well.

After five years in a coma, Shen An'an was sent into the game by her family, who were gradually losing patience.

[Game loaded. Welcome back, my master. Which Celestial Ladder would you like to enter?]

Shen An'an: ???

This is great! I get to choose?

[Master has reached the Celestial Lord rank and is in the top ten of the overall rankings. You may choose any Celestial Ladder.]

Shen An'an: ...

System, are you sure there's no mistake? Me? I'm a total newbie. When did I become a Celestial Lord and make it into the top ten overall?

What a bizarre game!

Shen An'an entered the game in a daze, but somehow became the mysterious big shot everyone talked about.

P.S. A feel-good story with a powerful female lead and a CP. Romance is a small part of the story.

Theme: Never give up hope
