This novel will be completed and locked on April 2, starting from Chapter 32. If you've already read those chapters, please don't buy them again!
The blurb for my upcoming novel, "A Stranger in My Dreams," is below. Feel free to take a look if you're interested!
[Blurb]
In her previous life, Nan Ruo had no love or support from either of her parents. Through sheer hard work, she managed to buy a home and a car by the age of twenty-five. But fate had other plans: before she could enjoy them for even a year, she died from overwork.
When she opened her eyes again, Nan Ruo had become Nan Gua'er. She had four siblings, a father with every vice imaginable, a frail mother, and domineering grandparents, uncles, and aunts. The whole family lived in constant fear during the final years of the Zhou dynasty.
Just as she was making plans to improve their new life, the world fell into chaos. The realm splintered into four, human lives became as insignificant as ants, and her siblings were forced apart.
Fortunately, they were reunited a few years later, though each of them seemed to have changed a little...
[Synopsis of "A Stranger in My Dreams"]:
Ao Qing lost the succession battle that had raged through the dragon clan for generations and was imprisoned in the Dragon Abyss.
After a thousand years, he was so bored that he tried every possible way to pass the time.
One day, he suddenly entered a woman's dream. There, they made passionate love, and afterward he left without a second thought.
Later, while practicing divination for fun, he unexpectedly discovered that he had a child!
Good heavens!
He had been imprisoned for nearly a thousand years, without even a female mosquito for company. How could he possibly have a child?
Then he remembered the woman he'd made love to in her dream...
Ao Qing's eyes widened like copper bells. Could she really have gotten pregnant that way?
But no matter what, the dragon clan hadn't had a hatchling in a thousand years. He would search heaven and earth to find that woman!
Shu Ji liked dreaming.
One day, she suddenly entered the dream of an exceptionally handsome man. She had always been attracted to his looks, and when he tempted her, she gave in to his advances in the dream. It felt wonderful, but they agreed never to meet again.
She never expected him to suddenly show up one day and tell her she was carrying his child.
Shu Ji scoffed, only to have the pregnancy confirmed when she went to the hospital.
Shu Ji was stunned. Even more astonishingly, the man said he was a dragon and had to take her back to the dragon clan to give birth.
After he showed her his horns and scales, one after the other, Shu Ji believed him.
But she had no desire to live like a primitive. When she learned the man had a magic bag that could hold anything, Shu Ji packed up every modern convenience she could use and followed him to the dragon clan.
One day, while tending the plants in her little courtyard, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her belly, so she went to the toilet.
And then... she laid two eggs.
The whole dragon clan was shaken. Dragon births were rare, and twins had never been born before. She instantly became a great benefactor of the clan.
The next day, the clan leader brought ten handsome young men and, after shooting a disdainful glance at Ao Qing, who was clumsily caring for the eggs, told her to enjoy herself and lay plenty more.
Shu Ji: ...
Ao Qing: ...
Later, while incubating her eggs, she also ran a little convenience store.
Before long, more and more people started coming to shop there: nine-tailed foxes, Tiger King, Lion Tyrant, cultivators, and all sorts of others...
Modern goods sold very well among the dragons, but once something was sold, there was one less of it.
That night, Shu Ji pushed away Ao Qing, who stubbornly kept rubbing against her, and muttered, "I really need to figure out a way to restock."
PS: A sweet little fantasy with a farming vibe. It's mainly about the heroine's everyday life running a convenience store in the dragon clan and making gold, while raising her little ones and [incidentally] training her dragon man. Later on, the whole family (dragons) will return to the modern world, but that will probably be in an extra chapter. I'm not sure yet; I'll decide once I start writing.
Theme: Always hold on to hope, and you'll see the light.
I always thought Xie Yang was the male protagonist, but in the end we never met again?
Ah, this ended a bit quickly
I don't know why I'm reviewing it, so I'll tell you here that I'm currently revising the details of this article. I will continue to update it and it will be completed~
No longer updated???
What makes me endure such an old pervert?
Author, please reveal to me who the male protagonist is?
!!! Wouldn't the heroine's mother be sold to someone else as a concubine and then be rescued and lose her memory, then remarry and have children??? 😂 I hope it won't be so bloody
!!!! The second guy is really crazy
I am particularly disgusted with this third young master. . . Don't treat people as people. I remember seeing a sentence that seemed to be said by a very famous person during the Republic of China. I forgot. It probably meant: Those people (the rich and powerful) did not think that slaves were the same as themselves.
It's already July and there's no update yet? Is this book a scam?
