The Storm in 1980s Hong Kong [Criminal Investigation]

Zhao Ziyu, an outstanding graduate of the police academy, had just helped the police solve a major case.

The suspect was the survivor of a murder case that had rocked society forty years ago, when the entire family of a wealthy Hong Kong City tycoon was killed.

Zhao Ziyu remembered the case vividly. All thirteen members of the tycoon's family had been brutally murdered. The police suspected the killer was the fourteenth person, the tycoon's Fourth Concubine.

Rumor had it that the Fourth Concubine was as beautiful as a celestial maiden, even more beautiful than the biggest movie stars in Hong Kong City at the time. But being beautiful and poor was no blessing in those days. Her life had been full of hardship: her beauty brought her glory, but it also led to her downfall. After the tycoon's family was killed, the Fourth Concubine vanished without a trace, her whereabouts and fate unknown, turning the case into a cold case.

What Zhao Ziyu never expected was to wake up as the Fourth Concubine's... dependent.

The Fourth Concubine was her aunt. Zhao Ziyu's parents had died young, leaving her with only her aunt as family. Her aunt had taken her from the mainland and married into a wealthy family.

On the first day after transmigrating, Zhao Ziyu and her aunt had just arrived in Hong Kong City when they were caught up in a murder case...

Everyone here wanted Zhao Ziyu and her aunt gone, but Zhao Ziyu was determined not to let them have their way.
