"I want to fly. How free that would be." This was Ling Feifei's fantasy before she was reborn. Who could have imagined that she would actually make that fantasy come true? In eight years, she turned it into a dream she could pursue. Going from art teacher to pilot was only the beginning. From the Boeing 737-800 to the Boeing 787-9, from narrow-body jets to wide-body jets, from three stripes to four, from a young rookie pilot to the famous "legendary captain." She never regretted a single step of the journey. Because she knew she had gained not only a career, but also the friendship and love she had never had before, and, more importantly, she had found herself. With a strong wind at my back, I'll soar up to the clouds. "Hello, everyone. I'm your captain, Ling Feifei. Please fasten your seat belts. We're preparing for takeoff." Note: "With a strong wind at my back, I'll soar up to the clouds" is from Cao Xueqin's poem "Linjiangxian: Willow Catkins." The author of this novel is not a civil aviation professional. In 1979, the Xiangshan Hotel project broke ground in the capital. That same year, Lin Yilan returned to the capital with her parents and older brothers. Just when she thought she could finally lie flat for the rest of her life, the biological mother of her eldest and second eldest brothers returned to the capital from the northeast, and the biological father of her third brother came back from abroad. Only then did she realize she had transmigrated into a period novel. Fortunately, although the relationships in her family were complicated, the family members had always been close. As a result, all those driven, ambitious people looked down on her for being a lazy "sardine" who was content to get by. The Lin family regretted that Lin Yilan had already taken the college entrance exam before returning to the capital. Now all they could do was wait for her admission notice. Lin Yilan had no idea that her family felt this way. Ever since she decided to lie flat, all she wanted was to graduate from college, get assigned an ordinary job, and spend the rest of her life simply, with a cup of tea and a newspaper. Just as expected, Lin Yilan got into a very good university. Except... She was assigned to the architecture department!!! At that moment, Lin Yilan remembered the last thing she had said before dying suddenly in her previous life: "If I ever study architecture again, I'm a dog!" From then on, everything became unbelievable. Who could have thought that a girl assigned to the architecture department would later become a world-famous architect? Lin Yilan: "Woof!" Years later, Lin Yilan stood in front of a dusty construction site wearing a hard hat. "Hu Hansan is back again!" Theme: Finding a new direction in life
