Ten Years After Our Breakup, He Came to Hear Me Sing

The protagonist is an illegitimate son of a powerful family.

He loves the guitar and formed an underground band with the love interest. They gained a little recognition.

But his family found out.

Just then, one of the band members mocked his guitar skills, saying he was only good to look at.

He was nothing but a burden.

The love interest stood up for him, but the other members all sneered at him.

So he left the band and took over the family business.

For many years afterward, he heard nothing from the love interest.

He heard that the original band broke up not long afterward. The love interest disappeared for several years, then reemerged as the lead singer of a hugely popular band.

The band became an overnight sensation.

The love interest shot to fame and became a star singer.

By then, he had also taken over the family business, and only occasionally saw news about the love interest.

He thought the love interest had achieved the dream he had cherished as a child.

He must be very happy now.

As for him, he had long since locked all his guitars away in the basement.

Ten years later, he went to the love interest's concert.

The next day,

he saw the news that the love interest had died by suicide.

In a daze, he went to work and got into a car accident.

When he opened his eyes again,

he found himself back at seventeen. The love interest stood before him, youthful and bashful, his cheeks flushed.

"Will you start a band with me?"
