Gold Tempered in Fire

An old-school story. I think the plot is ridiculous and the characters are poorly defined. It's become a dark mark on my writing history.

If anyone wants to read it, I'll finish it. If not, I'll let it quietly disappear into the archives.

A year ago, on the front lines of the civil war in Country S, Yin Sui recklessly led a team deep into the area to report on the fighting, and several journalists were killed or injured.

After spending over half a year in the hospital, he was transferred to an easy post and started taking it easy ahead of schedule.

He thought his life would return to normal, but Ye Cheng, the "troublemaker" on the show crew, disrupted his laid-back routine.

Later, when Yin Sui ran into trouble, Ye Cheng helped him escape his predicament. Gripping his wrist, Ye Cheng said earnestly, "Producer Yin, you can ask me for help."

Later still, everyone at the Country S bureau knew the new reporter, Ye Cheng, was close to Yin Sui, the icy big shot.

But no one knew that where no one else could see, Ye Cheng's lips brushed Yin Sui's earlobe, his breath hot as he whispered, "Yin, don't leave me."

Ye Cheng had always had just one wish: to do great things and become a model for the industry.
